Dr Meeran is a local having recently moved with his young family into the area. He has worked in many aspects of medicine with a broad experience in emergency medicine including minor traumas, removal of foreign bodies and acute care. He has an interest in chronic medical illnesses and ongoing care. He has been working in the hunter for many years and is passionate about offering the highest quality of care and support for every patient.

Dr Zubair Hossain

MBBS ,MD, DTM&H

Dr Hossian graduated form Bangladesh in 1984, then furthered his education in the Uk , gaining his Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. He has also done his cardiovascular surgery studies in Tokyo, Japan and gained his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the same university.

Dr Hossain has passed the US Medical Licensing Exam along with working in the world famous Texas Heart Institute,Houston from 2002-2004.

He has likewise been offered position for Vascular surgery in Tasmania, along with working in Adelaide, St Vincents hospital Sydney and even our local John Hunter Hospital.

Dr Hossian has been working since 2009 as a General Practitioner with a special interest in skin cancer surgery, aesthetic medicine, vasectomy and other surgical procedures.

Dr Farhana Mujahid Female Doctor

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Mujahid comes with many years of experience in General Practice. She is a local herself and community care for the public is of highest importance to Dr Mujahid. She provides services such as: Women’s Health, children and family health, contraception and many more.

Nurse

Kate is our registered nurse. She is very friendly and keen to work with the elderly community. She has extensive experience in acute emergency and a special interest in Diabetes. She is registered immuniser and has speciality in women health.
